With the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, we want to assure our patients that their health and safety is our top priority. During this unprecedented outbreak, to ensure the safety of our valued patients, visitors, and staff, we will be following guidance from the Ohio Department of Health and the CDC.
Until Monday, April 6, 2020, our office will temporarily be limiting our in-office patient visits to true eye emergencies. Our telephone front office and scheduling telephone lines remain open(440 886-2020) to serve our patients for routine requests (appointment scheduling, refill requests, etc.) during our normal business hours of 7:00am - 4:30 pm M-F. Routine eye appointments and surgeries have been rescheduled, but our doctors and staff remain available to assist with medical eye emergencies during this time. Our office observes fastidious, thorough, and frequent office disinfection and appropriate infection prevention procedures as recommended by the CDC, federal, state, and local public health authorities.
We are taking this unprecedented outbreak very seriously, and we are screening all our patients, employees, and visitors. If you have experienced fever, cough, or general flu-like symptoms, or if you have had contact with anyone that has traveled to affected geographic areas, or with someone who is infected or quarantined, we ask that you NOT come to our office. Rather, call us to make appropriate arrangements for your care to be provided in a manner that ensures the safety of everyone, and contact your physician or the Ohio Coronavirus hotline (833) 427-5634.
We look forward to keeping you healthy and to seeing you soon!
